I know it has been a long time writing on my page.. well that is because I gave birth to my little girl on thursday at 3:48 a.m.. I would like to tell my story.. I almost went into preterm with her on my 32 week.. but they managed to get at least 2 weeks in before that ultimate day.. On wednesday april 9th I was on here as I normally am.. checking on friends and reading all the forums loving and enjoying how other moms cope with their pregnancies and how we all share or stories.. I believe on that day I wrote in the 35th week forum that I was going to be extra lazy because I was feeling pressure. I was preparing dinner and my husband was working his late hours.. I felt weird that day and managed to keep low.. I was eating dinner with my daughter when all of a sudden I felt like someone punched my between my legs.. I got up quickly and a rush of water came down in between my legs.. I couldn't believe what was happening and I began to panic.. I rushed to the phone and tried contacting my husband but couldn't reach him water was just gushing all over the place and at this point I was in tears.. I got in touch with the in-laws who immediately rushed over with my husband and we all headed to the hospital.. sure enough my water broke and there was no way to stop anything.. I was monitored for a bit until they had the labor and delivery room ready.. the contractions were coming hard but were irregular.. they gave me medicine to make them come quicker to dilate me.. I was already 3 centimeters upon arrival at the hospital.. I tried dealing with the pain but begged for the epidural.. few minutes later after midnight I began feeling pain and had to put my legs up.. I told them I felt like taking a crap but I knew the baby was there.. they told me to hold on they check and I was 5 centi at 1:00 am.. the pain got severe and the tech had to come back they didn't understand why the epidural stopped working.. all of a sudden my daughter's heartbeat began to drop.. I was scared and my stomach felt odd.. I began to tear but held fast.. they lost her heartbeat they told me to lean to the side and there her heart was again but it was beginning to fail.. the doc came in and checked me but I saw her face was stern.. She checked me again and I was 8 centi so fast.. she told me "thats it you are going to push!' I said "what! at 8 centimeters!" she told me I had to because the cord was strangling my baby in the canal..OH my GoD my heart sank I didn't care how I would hurt myself but she had to come out.. I began pushing with all my might to only hear my baby's heartbeat slowing down... her head was right there and the nurse dug into my vagina stretching it to get to the cord.. she told me sorry she had no time to numb were she needed to cut me.. I told her go ahead.. she cut my a bit open dug in and got the cord where she cut it as soon as it was visible to her.. my daughter came out screaming! Oh yes thank God!! Her screams were music to my ears.. she was tiny and loud.. I cried my eyes out along with my husband... she was 5 pounds and 5 ounces and 18 inches... wide awake and so cute .. I call her my jumping bean because she is tiny... I got to take her home today .. the docs were amazed of how strong and healthy she was.. and let her come home with just a 2 night stay at the hospital.. I am glad that the epidural wore off.. that was GOD because he knew something was going on inside of there.. because if it would have numbed me I would have not known.. GoD she is beautiful.. my Ahriana Estrella..born early at 35 weeks and 5 days but born a fighter!! I am sore down there lol but having my 2nd child home and healthy is the best healing in the world!

He does a bit but he also looks a lot like my sis when she was a baby... It seems like my milk it's better but I never have any tenderness on my breast... I'm able to feed him 30 minutes each side if he wants to... doctor told me to give him 15 minutes each side and some formula after for 2 weeks to make sure he is getting enough food... when I only give him the breast he will be hungry earlier that if I split with the formula... he told me in 2 weeks my milk should be good to go! I will look for the supplements... Baby sleeps a lot and poops a lot too! ahahah
I need some advice how to stimulate and how to pump... we have to find time between our busy schedules to talk... it's crazy with a small baby... his father has been pretty awesome... he knows how to change him, burp him, he gives him the bottle.. its so exciting to watch him... he has been a great help... my mom is also here helping... it's overwhelming and tired but I'm so happy!! How is you life coming along??? How is the jumping bean?

If she would only act at night like she does during the day!!!!!!! I tried a pacifier (many different ones) and no such luck! She will not have them. And she HATES to be swaddled. I am just screwed. HELP!!

Hi,I was just looking at different peoples pages and was looking at your profile. I turn 30 tomorrow and was thingking I'm getting a bit old...Then I looked at your profile picutre, thought, hmm, this is a young mom then saw your the same age as me :-) 30 is still young Your birth story is amazing! My little Sammy was born at 36 weeks. I was pretty sure I was further along than that so I wasn't too scared but still a little bit of unsure what a 36 week infant would be like. He was 7lbs 4 oz (which amazed the nurses) My dr had already guessed at my 34 week check that he was coming up on 7lbs. He had some problmes figuring out how to suck but got it down by day 2 and was very jaundice and spent his3rd day on the billy blanket but got to go home on the 4th. We have great ins. and I was able to stay all 4 days with him which was a huge blessing, we are an hour from the hospital and that would have been a lot of commuting. He is fat and perfect now .

We have to cht on line sometime... my delivery was easy... pice of cake... I'm writing on my blog right now... My milk came yesterday... baby was starving and doctor told me to give him some formula... he lost some weight and he was so hungry that was screeming the first night we came home... He loves to eat... I felt so bad and guilty for not having milk... I still giving him formula after I breastfeed but not everytime only when he is not fully satisfied... like 2 or 3 times during a 24 hour perid... I guess my milk is just not enought yet :(
I need some advice in how to pump... not that I need right now... but It's always good to know :)

mothers day in US isdifferent than UK then as ours was in march.....thankyoutho hon. Happy mothers day to you. Wow the weather here is lovely how bout over there is it warm? lol fancy her giving you a suprise like that right after her bath hehehehe.. Yep Charlie has got me a few times with the pee pee spray lol,Lastnight he didnt want to sleep his eyes were wide and he wanted to play a 3am lol. Charligoes through lot of pampers also and i keep checking his lill bot so he doesnt get sore....tiny booty n so cute lol.xx

I was so surprised last night when i woke up at 2:22am with him cuz he normally wakes me every 3 hours at night. So after he went back to sleep at like 3:30 I woke him by 7:30 to feed again.
I had a big baby and his blood sugar fluctuated in the hospital so I want to make sure he gets what he needs.

Imi font, charlie falls aslepto as soon as he sats sucking nits lik he ll get 20z down then bahe is out for the count. Even changing his nappy e soon goc to sleep, however yes, his nappies show he is getting enough. Charlie sleepssomuch in the day i worry too when he goes past his feed. Wow its just whole new set of worries once you hae the baby. I worried troughout pregnncy and no worry wih the feeds nstuff....never ending worry lol.Ive also been putting cream on his lill body cos his skin is a little dry. Weather here is nice we arehaving a mini heatwav...we usually have so much rain so everyday ive been walking wih the pram..but then my legs ache lol..

Hey, I read your post on the month issue. Well dr's go by the date like they are one month on 5-15-08 if their born 4-15-08. Now you can go by which ever you want but if you go by 4 weeks then you'll end up at the end of the year they are a year old before their birthday b/c some months have 5 weeks like august...see what I'm saying? So in fact your husband is wrong :)
