The story so far......

december 6th 2007. my last pill was taken on this day!! felt really good to finally have decided between us that we wanted to start a family! :)

we got married during the summer and have been together 9 years now so i think its the right time to finally make the family we have always dreamed of.

My cycles so far......

cycle 1 after stopping the pill i had a withdrawal bleed 4 days later, i then went on to have a 26 day cycle which i was really pleased about as it seemed that after being on the pill for many years my body was behaving itself!

cycle 2 well cycle 2 hasnt gone aswell as cycle 1 did! infact its now cycle day 42 and my period still isnt anywhere to be seen! i did get cramping the week she was due to come and the day before i had blood tinged cm so i thought that was a definate sign she was on her way. when she didnt show up i started to get my hopes up that we ahd actually had done it. i started to get really bad cramps, which would come and go throughout the days and that carried on for almost 2 weeks! ive done 3 hpt's, one on cycle day 26, 28 and cycle day 35 all have come back negative so i know its not because im pregnant. the cramping seems to have gone too and i dont have any other pregnancy related symptoms.

so this is my story so far......i'l update you when my period finally turns up then we can get back to buisness :)

Well my af still hasnt turned up yet! my cramps have returned today and they were quite uncomfortable at one point too. Also my bb were hurting today when i was walking really fast at work, but im probably getting my hopes raised for all the wrong reasons.

Im going to do another HPT this weekend just for testings sake, but i cant help in the back of my mind hope that there may be a slim chance that there will be a bfp waiting for me. really wish there was though! x

well today i have done a HPT and it was a BFN!!! i was so hoping that it was a positive but the conclusion now is that the pill has messed up my system. its cycle day 47 today, so im going to go and see my gp tomorrow to see what he says, just hope he doesn't think that im wasting his time!! il update tomorrow with what happens there.

today is cycle day 51 :( still no sign of my af!! wish she would just come now, im so fed up of waiting and she's 3 weeks late now!! didnt end up going to see my gp, think im just going to let it ride its course and then if the same things happens again next month il go to the gp's for definate. hopefully she will come soon and i can get back to some baby dancing!!!

hello, well my period is still not here! im on cd 58 of cycle 2!! WTF is going on with my body?? just cant wait for my period to come now. we want a baby so badly that all this waiting is torter for me and my hubby! hopefully she will come soon xx

well im on cycle day 63 now :( went to my gp's yesterday to seek some advice and i shouldnt have really bothered!!

he just told me to come back and see him in another MONTH if my period still isnt here!!! grrr, didnt want to look at my cycle diary, didnt want to feel my tummy didnt even offer to take any bloods so i now feel like im on my own!!

oh well, its got to be here soon though, how much longer do i have to wait???!! xx

hello, well im on cycle day 70 now of my mammouth cycle!! getting even more fed up now!!! when will it come??

IM PREGNANT!!!!!!!:)

its such a shock after not having a period since january! i thought the pill had messed me up good and proper and that was causing me to not have a period. i was on cd 73, my boobs hurt the night before when i walked down stair's and i told my hubby. didnt test as i really thought that it was either my mind playing tricks or my af was coming.

after work on the 18th, i had the urge to test and thought it was a good idea as i hadnt pee'd ina good few hours.

so i dipped the test and left it in the bathroom and came back on the pc, totally forgot about it in there which isnt normal forme at all. i went v=back 15 minutes later and nearly fainted when i saw 2 lines!! my hubby had gone to get a take out so i was shaking so bad and i just kept dipping the test sticks, the second line came up within 20 seconds and i just stood there with my mouth open!

to say were happy would be an understatement! we cant stop smiling at each other!!

so im approximatly 5weeks and 1 day today - very early so i hoping and preying that everything will go well.

hello! went to see my MW for the first time yesterday :) she seemed just as confused as me as to when im due but she put me four days back which is a bit poo!! so im now due approximatly 24th of november instead of the 20th.

feeling quite rough on and off but not as bad as i thought i might be, which is playing on my mind but im trying not to get too worried about it. my Mw also booked me in for my first scan which is on the 13th of may.

hello everybody!! well im 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant today!! really dont think it has sunk in for me yet! me and my hubby are just counting the days un til our first ultra sound scan and hoping and opreying that everything will be alright!! please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us!! xx

hello! not updated this bit for a while even though lots and lots has been going on!! had a bleed at 8+6 weeks and went to my local a&e who were useless really, so went to my gp's on the monday and he sent me for an early scan. i was 9+1 at the scan and we saw the heartbeat!! dont really remember too much about it but my hubby filled me in. he said that at first the baby wasnt moving but he could clearly see the heart beat and he said the lady must have disturbed it as it started wriggling around!!

so it was such a relief to know at that point all looked well, we have our routine 12 week scan on may 13th, so im just hoping and preying that al is well and that our little bean is still growing strong :)

im 10+6 weeks today so very excited about moving into week 11 tomorrow but im not looking forward to going back to work on tuesday after 2 weeks resting:(

hello! well im 13+4 weeks today! had my 12 week scan last tuesday (pictures above) and they moved my forward almost a full week which is very exciting!! my new due date is november 18th and i just bought my first baby clothing which was lovely! very strange though to buy something for myself rather thatn someone else lol! suz x
