Oh man, we are not NIP well either. Ive given up the cover because its hot and just gets in the way. I dont know exactly why she never has a good feed when we are out but Im starting to think she is picking up on my anxieties about it.

Seriously, the IAP ‘month by month baby development’ forums are not very bf’ing friendly are they? A bf’ing Momma just as much mentions a preference for bf’ing and gets attacked from all angles by ff’ers. Ive seen it happen so many times .Geeze, underlying guilt much?

Did you ladies hear about the infant formula in China apparently causing early puberty in BABY GIRLS?! (of course Chinese gov’t denies it)

It almost seems like a contest ‘whos baby takes the most oz in a feed’ Great , your baby takes 10 oz a feed. and is only 2 weeks old, that must make them advanced. I agree the month by month pages are misleading to the FTMs. It seems like everybody is FF. And the rice cereal, dear god I feel for those poor kids, it pains me when some one else…[Read more]

Seriously Im appalled at all these mothers feeding their kids cereal on the THREE MONTH page. WHY do so many feel the need to do this? And there are always so many excuses…

And Im wondering why is is that ff tend to feed solids so much earlier than bf’ers?

  • Amallama replied to the topic Breastfeeding in the forum Babies Forum 3 years, 7 months ago

Bri and deeyore- thank you! I have made some attempts at block feeding but havent found it help much, I guess I have to be more vigilant. Was pumping a bit off first but didnt want to increase my supply. I hope the LC has some lightbulb solution I hadnt thought of, but I just keep thinking that in a few months when she can handle it she is going…[Read more]
