Just curious what around the clock nursing does the first couple of days? Also, my little girl is 3 1/2 months old and the last couple of days has been nursing for a much shorter time each time. She just stops and smiles up at me; then she is on and off on and off for a minute or so and then she is done. She is not fussy and I can still get…[Read more]

Thank you for the comments on weight loss. My doctor told me that women tend to end each pregnancy near the same weight no matter where they were when they started. I ended up 10 pounds less than my first but I gained 45 pounds when pregnant this last time. The pregnancy seemed to go so fast but the weight loss after seems to go so slow. I…[Read more]

Thanks for the time help Bri. I had to work so I pumped quite often for my first baby for a year but that was back in 2007 and I am a SAHM now and I have forgotten everything that has to do with pumping.

I hear over & over that nursing helps you lose weight. I nursed my 1st exclusively and now my second and am having the hardest time losing weight. It is the most depressing thing to be 30 or 40 lbs more than I was before my children and I am stuck. Any thoughts?

noah colts mommy: my baby’s poo is the same thing, still yellow & seedy (sometimes seedy) but just like water. I don’t know if she is peeing at the same time or if it is diarrhea? It has been a little over a week. The same thing also she went from several times a day to only 1 or maybe 2. If you find out let me know.

How long can BM be left at room temperature after pumping?

2 questions? Wondering if there is any allergy medication safe to take while nursing? Also my little girl has some kind of clock in her. She eats for 9 minutes on both sides and has since the first week. She is 3 months old now. But for the past few weeks after 6 or 7 minutes she gets really fidgety and almost mad. She still wants to eat…[Read more]

Has anyone had an infection from nursing? If so what were your symptoms?

  • Lan07 replied to the topic in the forum Babies Forum 3 years, 8 months ago

I never felt a let down or leaked with my first baby and Nursed for a little over a year. Now with my second the first few weeks the let downs hurt and I leaked all the time. It’s been 3 1/2 months and I am back to not feeling the let downs and not leaking. Is it alright not not feel the let downs and also just out of curiosity, how many let…[Read more]
