My LO is a week old and suddenly wants to eat ALL the time. I feel as if I cant produce enough milk right now. I just got done nursing him on both sides and he’s rooting again. Anyone else experiencing this?

babyinjuly- I use Johnson’s disposable pads. I like them the best because they are thicker and conform better to my breast. Mabe just try a couple of different brand and find out what works best for you.

Jessicahan- I have the same problem, just not as drastic. I ALWAYS have to pump my right side every morning and nurse my DS on the left side- the one that produces less. If you find something that works please let me know b/c I’m right there with you!

I had something clogged up in my armpit the first couple of days that I was breastfeeding (I think it was a duct) and placed a warm damp wash cloth to it and it went away. Maybe this will help?

Is it normal for breastfeeding to be painful after a week of breastfeeding? I actually have to wear nipple sheilds because I have flat nipples and my son can’t latch without. You would think these would protect and take some of the pain away, but it’s not. The pain is some times too much making it hard for me to want to continue. Anyone else…[Read more]

Tory- I stopped taking my prenatals about 27 weeks into my pregnancy, but have started taking flintstone gummies and have been eating Total cereal for breakfast. I think it helps a lot with boosting my energy. I’ve also been struggling with my moods since I had little Easton so I’ve been taking extra B6.

ilovemyprincesses- I read somewhere that to increase your milk supply you can lie with your LO skin on skin as this stimulates and sends a message to your brain to release the hormones that produce breast milk.
