cmmbear – that’s great! i would love to do that but i would seriously be a wreck the next day :S since i had glandular fever, i really can’t do without my sleep or little sleep. even last night, baby was being fussy (bf and formula, he had a grump) and at 2am, that was it for me, i passed out even though he was crying and hubs took over. i…[Read more]

i got mine at 3months pp with my daughter and yeh it started slowly. probly it took 6 months or maybe even longer to be like a normal period, and even then, i only say normal because it hasn’t changed really since then ( up to my latest pregnancy). it never was again as painful or as heavy. well, actually, it was twice, and i had it…[Read more]

  • jessipoo – i would look into getting her checked out just in case. given the circumstances you have given i would get mine checked over if it were me for peace of mind. don’t feel intimidated by the nurse, you’re doing a great job – perhaps some positive influence from her would have been nice!! i think i would have cracked it lol. i hate nurses!! πŸ™

Shiz, it’s a natural supplement that helps the liver to function better and doubles as a helper to bring the milk supply in. I had Cholestasis of Pregnancy, so it helped my liver with that condition too. Totally safe during pregnancy. I believe it might be known as mother’s milk as well? Well, I can now tell you, it helped my milk supply come…[Read more]

don’t forget the lunar cycle also applies to males! i was wondering if due to the non ‘lining up’ of lunar cycles with some couples, basically just being out of time with each other might be the reason some couples just don’t fall preggers? they are both fertile people and it just never happens. i know for a fact my bro had 3 yrs of sleeping no…[Read more]

domonique, so glad to hear you say you got there! yeh my boy has only started on formula because he had hypoglycemia and yeh i had no milk, but might have been able to try harder if he didn’t urgently need the sugar. i had milk thistle there and was prepared to stay up all night (and did anyway even tho he was a great baby) to ebf while in the…[Read more]

shiz – great minds think alike – i just found kellymom website this morning and was coming here to post it for others to look at!! it’s a fantastic site and has given me some more confidence, which is good. basically, why i’m torturing myself about bfing is that if it’s there i’d like to give it to bubs, it’s what is best for him. lunababy – the only tips I can offer and I started this around 4 weeks with my first (now earlier with my second) is to have milk thistle and fenugreek. I believe milk thistle is otw known as mothers milk? Also, there are brands that combine the two together! I would go for that if I had have known, because fenugreek is truly disgusting to take…[Read more]

alright, so i got some motilium or domperidone stuff cause i’d still like to bf lol. so i’m trying it over the next couple of weeks… in my circumstances i’ve read it should improve my supply but maybe not as much as it would for others. also, i’ve had one tablet and i’m soooo ready to pass out πŸ™

from the hard work that is involved in pumping, i agree it’s not the nicest thing, but sometimes there isn’t any other option. if your baby is crying/screaming 8-10 hours per night but supposedly fulfilling the weight requirements and the wet nappy requirements, what other way is there? mine was satisfying both and it nearly killed me to listen…[Read more]
