LETTHIS — Definitely the first 2 months are the worst! Even with my first (healthy) pregnancy I struggled to get through weeks 4-12, now after 3 losses it’s crazily stressful. Wish I had a time machine! DMALAYA – I wouldn’t worry about temping – some of us did it when TTC to confirm ovulation and pregnancy, but I don’t think there’s any reason to keep it up once you’re pregnant.

Hi girls, I’ve been in TTCAL for a few months, after my 3rd miscarriage this year – it’s been a big year! But I got a BFP on Monday, and so far so good, so I thought I might try out popping over here. The next 3 months, let alone the next 9 just seems like an incredibly long wait. I can’t bring myself to believe that this one will be ok. But it is good to know that some of you here have had similar experiences. Does anyone have any advice on coping with the worry?

Thanks JAMIE and KARI – I have found the ladies on TTCAL such a support and it is nice to recognise a few names here! Off to do something positive – hope to get to know you all in the coming months!

Hi girls, thanks for making me so welcome! It is great to be coming over here with so many TTCAL friends – I think there are 4 or 5 of us July DDs now. Hoping so hard that we all get there!

Anyone taking low dose aspirin here? If so, how long into your pregnancy did your doctor advise you to take it?

LETTHIS – ha ha, I have been doing exactly the same thing! 5 weeks today, symptoms still coming and going enough to drive me crazy. 4BOYZ – congratulations ! Wow it must be tiring to be pregnant and looking after a little one. Hope you’re getting some naps in! ALICIA – do you have to do anything different this time round, like bedrest or anything? I feel for you, it must be so hard to get this far along and then start to worry. Take it easy, I am sure with your cerclage everything will be fine this time. JAMIE – hurray for your little girl – one of each for you! Hope your son is feeling better – I’ve got used to seeing a lot of bumps and bruises on my little kamikazi – he likes to jump off furniture too!

JUBE – congratulations! I’m 5w too, and feeling this wait for 12 weeks is sooo long – I found the 2ww between ovulation and BFP hard enough, this is way worse! Glad I’ve got lots of you girls here to share it with. CHARLIE and PHIN – I recommend the TTCAL forum too – the girls there are wonderful and really helped me deal with my losses and starting again. I waited 1 cycle each time before trying again, but I think it depends on your circumstances, best check with your own dr.

JORDAN, LETTHIS – I want some more symptoms! Wish I could make time speed up a bit too. 3 and a half weeks still to my scan. Seems like forever….

preggers – I know how those last weeks drag – I went 11 days over with my son, and was eventually induced by the gel they put in to soften your cervix – that was enough to get labour going, so I didn’t need any needles. I had tried all the curries and exercise a million times! Don’t worry, she’ll be along soon! JORDAN – Yesterday my M/S inexplicably stopped. I thought what a relief to feel better. Then a couple of hours later I started to worry. Had hardly any symptoms all day – by this morning I was a wreck. But now it seems to have come back – quite a relief to be feeling sick again!! Has anyone else had M/S that comes and goes?

Thanks JAMIE, good to know your M/S came and went too, I’m 7 weeks today, still needing some symptoms to make me feel everything is ok, I lost my March baby at 8 weeks, so I can’t wait to be over that hurdle!

Beegee – ha ha! I posted that exact same question a few weeks ago… It is the longest wait ever. I am 9 weeks now, and starting to feel like I really might get a baby out of this. But I can’t say I’ve stopped worrying yet. I am hoping that good results from 12 weeks scan might help!

Just had my scan this morning, and I am breathing a big sigh of relief, because there was a beautiful little baby waving at me in there, measured 10w1d with a strong heartbeat. It was wonderful. The only thing is that now I feel like I have even more to lose, I can’t wait for the next few weeks to pass. Take care all!

Hi all, I’ve not been using this forum in the same way that I relied on TTCAL, but it is so lovely to see so many TTCAL friends in here now. BEEGEE – are you still at home or in hospital? Hope you are going ok and not too bored of bedrest. Are you comfortable or do you get sore not being able to move around? I’ve ended up with a doubled-over duvet on top of my mattress (under the fitted sheet) really makes my bed more comfy and sleeping better at night. SINNA – it’s great you are feeling so pregnant – what a lovely feeling! I am in (just) in 3rd trimester now, just crossing into week 27, feeling my little girl kick and wriggle lots. Seems like you’ll never get this far when you’re at week 6 or 9, but somehow that time just passes! Can’t wait to have a newborn again, although I can’t remember what you’re meant to do – seems so long since DS was that small, haven’t even had a nappy in the house for 6 months. Thanks for mentioning RED, I didn’t know she was on the rollercoaster again, lets all cross all our fingers and say a prayer for her and her little one.

Hi everyone, just popping in, now at week 36 with my little girl. Just been clothes shopping for her – can’t resist a couple of little dresses! RED great to hear it is going so well for you, was thinking of you last night. BEEGEE – you’re still here! Still on bedrest? How are you going? MICHELLE – I am so so sorry. Big hugs and all my thoughts and hopes with you.

SUNSHINE – welcome to the forum! I don’t post too much on here but like to catch up with all the ladies from TTCAL who supported me through a hard few months. There are a lot of lovely people here, hope your pregnancy goes well and you get some support from places like this. I was also very nervous and hired a doppler for a month around the 10 week mark – gave me a bit of peace of mind until the baby started moving!
