Is there a difference in the instant oatmeal and the whole oats. My Breastfeeding buddies at work told me to try the oatmeal, but I have been eating instant. They said it was something in the brown sugar that helps increase your supply. Does anyone know the difference between instant and whole oats?

Kym they say the Oatmeal with maple brown sugar helps to increase your milk supply. I eat it every day and can does help out a little. I’m thinking because my daughter’s is so much older my supply is decreasing because she doesn’t drink as much milk anymore.

I have been taking the fenugreek and drinking the mother’s milk for a little over a week now. But the problem is that I only take it when I’m at work. I did see a little difference this week while puming. But you do have to pump more to get more out. I eat Oatmeal every day too. Hopefully this will help. I know exactly what you are going…[Read more]

My daughter is now 10 months and I have been taking 2 fenugreek capsules a day. But looking at all of the comments, I don’t think I’ve been taking enough to increase my supply. Does anyone know how much fenugreek you have to take in order for you to see an increase in your supply?

Kebler98 – I am where you are with the breastfeeding. At work, I don’t really pump out that much. But when I’m at home Trinity she eats and drinks breastmilk. I supplment when she goes to the sitter and on the weekends if she’s away from me. I do feel your pain. I’ve been eating the oatmeal and drinking lots of fluids and fenugreek and…[Read more]

I’m glad that I am not the only one who is having issues with pumping. My daughter is 8 months about to be 9 months in a few days. When I’m ant home and nursing her I don’t have a problem. When I’m at work trying to pump, I don’t get much of anything out either. I am currently trying the mother’s milk, eat oatmeal daily, and the fungeek pills.…[Read more]

My daughter is 7 1/2 months old. I have been breastfeeding her since day one. Lately, it seems like my pumping milk supply has decreased. I work full time and try to pump at least 2 to 3 times while at work. When I’m at home, I don’t have a problem feeding her on demand, but it doesn’t seem like my pump supply is increasing. What can I do?

I agree, my daughter is 8 months old and i will breast feed wherever, whenever my daughter is hungry. I am not goign to starve my daughter because somebody else doesn’t like it. I don’t tell them not to eat, so don’t tell my daughter she can’t eat. I do use a receiving blanket when in public, which she tries to pull down at times. I just…[Read more]

Me too, but you have to do it or they will scratch you up. I have to clip my daughter’s nails at least 2 to 3 times a week, they just grow so fast. I think it’s the breast milk. LOL
