Hi hun, being that you are in only week 11, the heart beat can change. My babies heart beat was 169 BPM at week 10/11. But now I’m 16 weeks, it’s gone down to 143 BPM and I’m having a boy. If you want to try other guesses at knowing the gender. The red cabbage gender test and baking soda test was right for me. Maybe you could try it? If you type it in on google, you should get some help showing you how to do it 🙂 All the best x
With my son I’m about to have (hopefully!), his heart rate was 174 at 8 weeks, and 169 at 10 weeks…. and gradually went down at each appt. Now he’s usually right around 140. I didn’t document with my girls that early on, but I know in the end with my second girl she was always in the 130s. She was a surprise gender at birth and threw us off thinking she’d be a boy because of the heartrate, so no I don’t believe in that wives tale either. good luck!
The Old Wives tales that I did find true was one of the chinese gender charts not exactly sure which one since their are so many, but one of them was dead on w/all my kids, my stomach is very hairy this time w/boy not hairy w/my daughter! i craved orange juice w/my son and im usually a very big sweets person and I pregnant w/my son I dont crave sweets at all ever, my son is carrying much lower, and I felt I had an intuition and just knew also my hubby felt he knew and my mom was buying boy things and bought an ornament that said Mason on it long before I even knew the sex! I did the intelligender test and it was right also I know 4 other girls who did it and theirs were all right!
