I didn’t know about lillypads until after I stopped leaking with Chris. I was going to get them this time around but stopped leaking at 3 weeks so I opted out of them. I’ve heard really good things but no where actually sells them here. You have to order online.

Shell:: did that happen at Walmart? I saw a pic of a lady in a motorized cart breastfeeding with her entire boobie hanging out..no discretion at all.

James never got thrush, and touch wood neither will Ollie.

Well it turns out my LO and I do have thrush. We caught it early so it’s not too bad. I have to put nystatin in her mouth and on my nipples to help clear it up. I can’t wait for the pain to go away. Thanks for all of the advice. Hopefully in a few days I will be back to enjoying breastfeeding again, instead of wincing in pain every feeding.

So Ella bit me sooooo bad 2 days ago. I don’t know why she did it. She went through a little phase around 9 months when she was biting but not hard, hard hard and she only had 2 teeth. Well she has 6 teeth and she clamped and then pulled! I bled and keep bleeding every time she nurses. AHHH! It really hurts. It was just the one time, and i know that she is teething. But oh my god it really hurts. It makes me not want to nurse her! lol. Of course i’m still doing it.. because i still love it, but yeah. it hurts. =]

Ladies I am confused on this EASY routine. You all seem to refer to bottles when you are talking about it. I am strictly breastfeeding, at the moment, and will have to pump to go back to work in about 9 weeks. Am I missing something or maybe I missed part of the conversation. Sorry to be a apin, just a confused new mother here.

benbubby-could it be reflux? i know it causes really bad discomfort. caroline cried for the first 3 months straight until her dr put her on prevacid. she also ate every two hours and even that was a stretch somedays. now she is a happy all the time baby. unless she is hungry or sleepy or waking up a bajillion times in the middle of the night like she has been for the past week or so (i think she is teething-ugh). anyways…….caroline’s nicknames are : boo boo bear, tweety girl, ittle missy, and sue sue…….i have NO CLUE where i came up with sue sue at but i do call her that. my husband is also worried that she may not know her own name one day, haha. i still can’t get over how i never knew that i could love someone as much as i love her. i do not allow her to cry it out…..i also think that she is too young to manipulate and really understand what is going on and so something is definitely bothering her when she is crying. she has been getting into this habit of also pinching and grabbing handfuls of my boobs while nursing, she has now learned to grab the opposite nipple when she is nursing and wow does it hurt, and she kicks and digs her feet into my legs or arms the entire time she is eating. we nursed like crazy this weekend in hopes that my supply would increase……i was coming up like an ounce or two short each day for the past week or so…..i’ve only pumped my first session today…..will pump again in a couple of hours…hopefully i will be able to tell a difference.

Leslie! I love how you put it. It’s great. It feels like we all have to walk on egg shells and really should we? I don’t think so!

Jessica: she’s never apologized or even admitted she was wrong. She just acts like it never happened. Sometimes I hate living up here, because my support system is over 600 miles away. Even DH thinks we should move. I love my mommy. Lol.

Kids are bouncy! HAHA! I feel very lucky. My husband can be an idiot and we make fun of him. He let Chris go off the bed, the changing table AND down the stairs all before he was 7 months old. Alex has only fallen off my bed a few times. He sleeps with us and when I leave to take a shower he sometimes wakes up. Hence the reason he is starting to take naps in his bed. Although with this whole period and supply dip I’m having him in bed with me. I need the supply boost and he needs access at all times of the day. Anyways, just got both boys down for a nap and I’m headed that direction too. Can’t wait!!
