“Dear baby, Mommy will never ever, ever, ever eat broccoli cauliflower cheese soup again! I promise!!!” Dear lord… I took me till today to realize what was wrong with him…. I realized what I had ate (for lunch and supper) – UGH!!! Stupid stupid stupid! Gave him some mylicon and 30 mins later… farted like his dad, eyes rolled back in his head and he was out! Haha – I actually have the twins sleeping too – so I am going to attempt a catnap. Hope everyone is well and your babies are gas free!!!

How long do your babies stay on the breast? My DD has been only staying on for about 10-15 minutes and falls asleep and seems content. At night she stays on longer but in the day time she is an eat n’ run kinda gal. My baby is 6 weeks old.

scarlet, u can also try dry unroasted unsalted almonds. just buy a big back and snack on it all day.. you’ll see a huge difference. easy enough to eat at work also.

wow i wish i can pump that much. the most i got is just 4 oz. that’s why i’m kind of worried that my baby isn’t getting enough. and with that 4 oz, my breasts were really full.

Em2: Instead of the boppy I recommend the brest friend nursing pillow. I have the poppy, which didn’t work well for me because I have a long torso, so I have to shove pillows under it. Also, the poppy slides away from you and the baby falls in the crack. My own personal preference, and I believe I’ve heard other women express the same preference.

2ndtimemommy, if u look at special formulas, what is ‘special’ about them is that the cow/soy protein in them is already broken down. ive been to two pediatric GI’s that have told me that in the last two weeks of pregnancy all cow/soy proteins should have been cut out of my diet for my milk to be like the ‘special formula’. that means any and all dairy, any and all forms of soy, and beef. this pretty much means cutting out any sort of processed foods. it has to be fresh fruits n veggies and chicken and fish and such. it sounds overwhelming but it can be done. ive gone on the diet with both of my kids and really breastmilk was indeed the best thing for them as it strengthened their digestive system.

Poor Baby! I just want to say that Pooping is our worst enemy! I hate it when she has trouble pooing, she is so uncomfortable and fussy!

Good morning. Could any of you share some tips for positioning baby while nursing out in public? When I’m home I use a boppy pillow to raise me son up to my breast. I don’t take it out wherever I go and really struggle to fine a good way to nurse him without it. He is two months old so I need him elevated enough to reach my breast bu its hard to just hold him up the whole time because he pops off and on often and I need one hand to keep relatching him. Any positioning tips for feeding without a pillow?

thanks jessica. I also have been pumping into the same bottles for one day ( for example, monday I will pump into the same bottles, Tuesday pump into a new set of bottles and label them by the days)and i just read that you should not pump into cooled milk…Well, I have been doing that for 3 days now and feeding it to her! oops. So they expect you to pump into different bottles every time, cool them, pour it into the other cooled bottle. thats more stuff added that you have to do already!

bri- that’s funny. lol. yeah we’ll be huge. oh weight issues, it depresses me. although i’m like 5 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. i’m still not liking the way i look now. i havent’ lost the weight i put on my first pregnancy which ended up in m/c. then after 3 mos i got pregnant. all in all my i have to lose like 30 lbs before i’ll be happy. and i don’t even know where to start. depressing. oh i have a question, anyone losing hair like crazy? i’m losing so much hair, it’s scary…
