Hmmm, that sounds like a crumby situation. What exactly is the problem? Is it that you pump while your baby is hungry so you have to pump before he eats and then immediately feed it to him? I am not sure if I am understanding what is wrong, but if you are having a hard time pumping and then immediately feeding your baby maybe an idea would be to get ahead on your pumpings so you can feed your baby when he is hungry rather than hurrying to pump to feed him. I hope this makes sense..for example=You feed our baby a bottle at 9 and you pump at 10 and at 11 so it is all ready for him to eat at 1130 or 1200. Something I have done in the past is feed my baby a bottle of formula so I can pump and that one bottle of formula will give me a head start on my pumping schedule so I will always be one step ahead. I hope this makes sense and I hope I even helped you…if this is not what your situation is then nevermind.lol

Lawsons Mom, you are right on! (I meant that in reference to the amount in Lawson’s bottles, but then realized that it could totally apply for what people feed their babies as well!)

for those of u w/ babies suffering from colic, abd cramping, acid reflux, teething, or just gas i HIGHLY recomend Colic Calm. i ordered some online. it works in 90% of babies and mine is one of them. its gripe water. homeopathic but the only one regulated by the fda. it works almost immediately. i call it miracle water. its a lil pricy but im so happy. i know i sound like a commercial but i swear by it. i just wish i had discovered this sooner. http://www.coliccalm.com. its only sold online but they say to encourage ur local health food stores to carry it

Lawsons Mom – I thought of you when I was looking at it. I’m surprised that WA is as low as it is but it’s still in the top 3 in the nation. I like how they split it up to adding solids and not.

    Lawsons Mom –
I’ve never heard of that. I craved water and have never had troubles. I know way too much water can make anyone sick but you’d feel it and not want it.

Tannersmommy33, are you from milwaukee? Fox 6 is the channel I saw this on the other day, the date stamp on it says May 3rd but maybe they re-ran the story after all those co-sleeping deaths there has been recently. Thank you for posting the link to the story, I couldnt seem to find it.

Illy, will she take a soother? She may be a bit young to keep it in her mouth, so you may have to give it back fairly often, but that might help you…

He seems like he’s really gassy during the night…like just before he wakes up he will fart for a good half hour and he never has dirty nappies during the night only wet…so im wondering if he’s getting a tummy pain…i also think he uses me to go to sleep. I still have a damaged nipple which isnt really helping my patients with feeding. I’m not giving up…i feel like things could be easier! I’ll have a look at the links 🙂 Thanks guys.

My little one is 11 weeks and I put her in a sitting position with my arm for support and her butt in my lap. She just turns her head and we are good to go.

Ooooooooooh- Jepica.. I didn’t knwo u meant that.. You aren’t suppose to add new milk to cold milk. You have to use a new bottle! If they’ve all been sitting in the frigde all day and then you add them together to freeze thats different I believe.
