To top it off, while pumping I started feeling the ‘rage’… I’m not sure if it’s just because I saw very little coming out or if this is now going to be a problem for me. *sigh*

illy – A baby can start teething at a couple months and not cut any until several months later. Both of my boths started around 3 months and didn’t get any teeth until 6.

I got called into the boss’s office today. I thought it was just to give me back my calculations but instead I got a $750 bonus for some quick turn arounds we’ve been working on. I’m so excited! Anyhow, please don’t say anything on Facebook b/c there were others involved in it, but I’m not sure who got what bonuses.

Maddux – It’s supply and demand. If your baby needs more then you feed more often and will build it. At one time the most I have ever pumped was 16oz. Now that is a huge amount. I most of the time would pump about 4oz. Your breasts are also continueing to make milk so even while your baby is eating it is producing, just not as quick. Sooo, you feed one side, then the next and back to the first if you need to. In time your breasts will get the idea and make more.

Last Wednesday I was in a bf group and someone told one of the moms that every baby deserves a bottle. She said that every baby deserves a boob! Lol!

scarlet begonia- regarding the goats milk, im thinking of doing the same for my son. hubby is quite anti cows milk (he drinks it himself) but for as long as ive known him hes told me cows milk is a bit of a conspiracy, its really not meant for humans and that its just common because its cheap and that we should all be drinking goats milk. this was ages ago before i knew too much about nutrition so i thought he was a bit nuts and that goats milk sounded nasty but when both my kids ended up with cow protein intolerance alot of websites recommended goats milk over cows milk. i tried it myself and personally i thought it was nasty but my son wont know any different if thats all hes ever had. my toddler on the other hand is probably not gonna accept anythign other than cows milk after having had it for a year and a half now but she does fine on it anyway (thanks to breastfeeding she got over her intolrance!)

Now my milk has come in I am finding feeding more painful and my nipples are sore – especially in the colder weather! Does this subside after a while?

Ladies, struggling! Good Luck! And it does get better. You are giving your little guys the best start in life! Study after study shows that there is no comparison to mommy’s milk. You can do it!!!!

Lawsons Mom – ugh… I am getting mad FOR you at this point too. I know it was a hard decision to come to and ultimately, you want the best for Lawson. I hope that Lawson does well for her sake and yours! I can’t wait to be out of AZ and in CA where my parents are. My parents have only seen Alyssa a few times but they’re so much diff. than my inlaws. So much more loving and nurturing. My mom says my dad has ruined several pictures already because he touches and kisses them so much. lol, this coming from a big macho hispanic man. It’s so cute to see my father become a big cuddle bug when it comes to his granddaughter.

meganshell – Welcome, many moms have left the month-to-month pages for that exact reason. Many of us have been breastfeeding for years now. HAHA! I would probably not use the word ‘lazy’ because bottles take a lot of time and work. I am more keen to say I’m too lazy to use bottles. What a waste of time when you can just plug the baby in. HAHA! Straight from the tap! Please continue to stay here. It’s nice to have more breastfeeding mamas here!

Do any of you feel like you have no milk left by evening? I feel like this every day and my LO I’d always fussy and doesn’t seem to eat well in the evenings. Why is this?

Being thirsty is SO normal! As soon as she latches on, my mouth and throat feel so dry, I chug so much water!

Remember pumping is not a good indication of how much baby is getting. Baby can get more out of your boob then a pump can. Blessedbee your baby sounds like she is doing fine. I have always been told you can’t overfeed a breastfed baby. Also for those giving formula, this can affect your supply as baby is making a feed they would normally have on the boob.
