Clementine hates eating under a blanket as well so I wrap her up and just kinda keep it high on the back of her head and kind of hold it up around her face. Corners are great to nurse in so you’re facing the wall rather than a bunch of people at least that’s what I do at Starbucks plus when people look over they will know you’re nursing and leave you alone.

ilove, here is a kellymom page that talks about overactive letdown. I have this issue combined with over-supply, so when I block nurse, I am able to regulate the problem. http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/fast-letdown.html

scarlet begonia – This is going to sound really weird but I had this pinch right between my shoulder blades after birth. It was awful!!! Around 4 months PP I was at one of the fairs here and one of the booths had copper braclets and such. She asked if I had back pain and of course the answer was yes. She had this container, couldn’t tell you what was in it. She shook it all around my back. Never touched me. Sounded like sand in it. No idea what it was. Then she used this other thing that was had a rubber band on it that flicked me. Ok, I know the rubber band is supposed to stimulate circulation but I have no idea what the sand in a can thing was. I felt tingles down in my knees and toes. Ok, felt good but I went home thinking, yeah great! Didn’t buy anything from her but said thanks. The next day I didn’t have any pain whatsoever. It was so strange. I mean the pain was so bad that I couldn’t take a deep breath without it hurting and then it was gone. Pretty cool.

Was just passing through and noticed I’m not the only EPer in the world! Yay! Lawson’s Mom, I may use you for advice, etc. Just to catch everyone up, my little boy is 7 weeks old and due to traumatic birth/jaundice, and a whole variety of other issues including iverted nipples, etc. I made the decision to pump, and pump and pump. Couldn’t find ANY help on line about how to get and maintain a full supply via pumping, and my lactation consultant was useless. We have NEVER supplemented, I’ve worked like a dog at times just to get half of his next feeding, but now, knowck on wood, we seem to be doing OK. I pump between 25-30 ounces a day, and he’s taking 24. Got 42 oz in the freezer, plus I always have a day’s supply in the fridge. Shout out to you Momma, for making me feel not nearly as alone!!!

i think the concept of sleep in the states is too rigid, for over the past 14 months i haven’t sleep a ‘solid’ eight not once. i do tend most nights to get 7-8 hours of sleep though. i feel fine most days. only on the days that i stay up too late and can’t fit in the 7 or so hours do i feel tired. but that’s my fault not isaacs. and i know he’ll eventually sleep through the night in his own bed. if he doesn’t i’ll just tell his girlfriend when he’s older that he still sleeps with momma! hahahaha

phatbaby – it looks like you’re pasting the URL in the comment box. What you want is the HTML code. In your photobuck, click on the image you want the code for. Click on the HTML button, not the IMG button. It will auto copy the code for you. Enter it here then edit your comment and copy the code in there again and save. The code you’re looking for starts with (a href=’….
but the ( is actually a < Just had to enter it that way so you'd see it print out instead of it being read as code and not showing the characters.

Haha! I am your potty training momma!!! I used to teach the 2.5-3.5yr group and did potty training all day every day!!! If you go to the 30mo page, I have an entry (just checked and its still the second entry on the page!) I could retype it all here, or copy paste it, but its really long!

As an addition to my request for help. Im not trying to supplement I have to go back to work in a week. Im just trying to get her on a bottle. it was crazy since the medela wide neck slow flow came so fast when she sucked. But lo and behold I met this lady while nursing in the family bathroom of the ikea, she said to use my dr.browns bottle cause the same thing happened to her with her son. Thank you for the advice I should have been more clear. Does any one know of a bottle that comes ouyt slow? With the medela alot of brst milk just ran down her chin cause she couldnt swallow fast enough.

BTW, I know there are many moms out there using fenugreek for their supply. I found I was spending close to $50 a month on the stuff, so I ended up ordering from http://www.drugstore.com. They had a bottle that contained twice as many pills for half the price-same brand and everything. They ship for free on orders over $25 and I had my shipment in 2 days. They also included some chocolates and tea in my shipment. No this is not paid advertisement, I was just so happy at the service, I thought I would pass along the info!

AmyW: I always warm my milk up after it being stored in the fridge, my baby prefers it really warm. I heat water in a pyrex measuring glass in the microwave and then set my bottle in the warm water to heat it up. Usually takes 5 minutes or so. Feel free to ask any more questions, I know that pumping and nursing can be confusing!!
