babybellybliss – Not sure. I’m using a bjorn right now but need to get something more comfortable for Super Chunk and I since I wear him often.

Hmm, gotta love it when I open up the the breast feeding page and am greeted by a nice in-color ad for organic infant formula…

New research out!! There is actually stem cells in breastmilk. Another reason to add to the list of reasons to breastfeed! http://www.indianexpress.com/news/project-to-treat-babies-with-stem-cells-from-human-milk/623267/0

styx, I would say that it was more him draining you really well more than a production issue.

Styx~ Haha, umm, I think trouble is not finite when it comes to children! but heres hoping for smooth sailing after we beat the thrush. i am also going to the comissary and getting some natural yogurt or pro-biotics for the long term prevention…

thanks i just worry SO much about her getting enough milk, but so far she is gaining an ounce a day at her pedi visits. You would not believe how discouraged i was by EVERYONE to not breastfeed. the hospital staff, family, doctors, basically tried to force a bottle on my baby the WHOLE time i was in the hospital bc she was jaundice and my milk had not come in yet. i never gave in and now she has been the easiest to feed of all my kids, no fussiness, gas, constipation. etc. I am so happy about the super connection i feel with her too.

as for the pinching, Isaac is bad so I’ll either direct his hand to my necklace or his fingers around my finger, or i’ll stick my hand up for a round of one handed patty cake which he loves. all of these distractions seem to work. of course he is 13 months so he might understand more than some of the younger babies.

Bouza hope she gets the baby back soon and is able to nurse. We are lucky in the UK baby is kept with you, they don’t have the nursery room for them to all go to
