my little girl latches on pretty well, but every once in a while we have difficulties….but i guess we are doing fine because she’s almost up a whole pound and only 9 days old. and i was worried that i wasnt feeding her enough. now she seems to be nursing in less time is that because maybe my milk has finally come in and she is getting more so she dont have to nurse as long? if anyone has any input please let me know. this is my first baby and i worry about everything. thankyou in advance

zucchini spears are a big hit in this house…especially with teething. He loves to rub his gums over the cold fruit and it is easily eaten so he loves it.

heres my thought. if the body is fighting to gain weight as hard as his it can not pay attention to other thing that need tweeking. I’m doing it for health reasons. we are going on 2 months next week and he’s gained not even two lbs. thats not correct or acceptable.

…my two are 20 months apart and its perfect! ….now I have heard sisters are awesome w/ little sibs and older brothers hit them with blocks(ha).

lilmamamads-i was engorged and leaking until 6 months. i tried it all too and isaac always had green poop, but he put on weight and grew and the ped and lc didn’t seem concerned. at 6 months my supply started to decrease. i don’t think i would tinker with decreasing your supply. it might go away and not come back. i know it’s hard but consider yourself lucky for now.

PHATBABY- Yea, they say if you can wipe the white off the tongue with a piece of gauze then it’s fine. If it doesn’t come off or bleeds then it’s probably thrush.

marli – I’m so sorry you experienced that! It makes me so sad that your first time was so disappointing. Man I wish it would have been me. I would have come back with ‘I wish you wouldn’t eat in public!’ Keep going at it. The only way to make it normal is for others to see it as such. It’s so sad that other women are so judgemental. Ugh!

acissej7382 – I used to get that pain too. It goes away. Women feel letdowns all differently. That’s how I knew he was latched on and I was going to have a letdown in the beginning. This next time i felt bruised in the opposite breast when I let down. So weird. As for unlatching, just use your finger in the corner of her mouth to release the suction. You don’t want to just pull, that’ll kill your nipples.

Leslie, you are doing a great job. You know when I worked I made appointments for Fridays so I could take the rest of the day off and then have the weekend and Daddy to help if he was bad. Not the most fun but he was usually better within 24hours and left the rest of the weekend for fun.

Casen – I have two boulevards but other family members have the marathon and love it. Overall you can’t go wrong with a britax

poohspooh – This too shall pass? That’s my only advice! LOL. Zoey wanted the boob 19 hours a day… not just to eat. It gets better, and soon! You’ve made it through the rough of it. The next few weeks you’ll see a gradual improvement. My little one wouldn’t take a pacifier. Just me! Aaaaah. But it really, really, really does get better! Have you tried nursing (letting her suckle) laying down? That’s what saved me. I sleep through nursing at night now. She just finds the boob and latches on. We’re a great team!

ok ladies, i need advice and examples…my LO’s are 2 years old and 2 months old. with my first i was at a good weight then after i had her blew up. i didnt loose any of that pregnancy weight before i got preggo with my second. with my 2month old i really blew up and now i am having trouble trying to get motivated to loose the weight. i bf her every day. when i first had her i was bf and seemed to be hungary all the time. now i am still hungary but starting today i am gonna cut back alot of stuff. i was wondering what kind of things did those of you who have lost alot of weight in a good amount of time do? ( that didnt mess with your supply). i cant afford to go to the gym so what kind of at home excersies did you do?. how often do you jog?. i am curious as i have no clue as what kind of things i could do to help me. i am gonna cut out juice and pop out of my life so i planning on drinking pretty much water and milk and 3 small meals and 1 snack a day…i would greatly appreciate any feed back. you can message me on here or on my page if you want..plz and thankyou..

god-iva – Cute photo. Next time try and change the size to med or small. It’ll fit onto the forum better. HAHA! Love it though!

Oh and how much water per the grams? And do you leave them uncovered or covered?

question: anyone else have pets. we have two large dogs and a cat. Isaac is suddenly scared of the dogs when they walk into the room or stand up or do anything other than lay down. he comes running and crying to me. it’s so sad and i know they’ve not done anything to him b/c i never leave them unsupervised. think he’ll grow out of it?
