Sorry nothing to do with babies. I am sad no one remembered my birthday….. So hows everyone??
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768655newmomcara- IMO it is easier to carry a sleeping baby in the infant carrier style carseat than trying to move them and it also gives you a place to have the baby if you go out to dinner or go visit (other than holding or passing from person to person, which could spread germs). Also, my MIL has one for all the grandkids but it didn’t work very well for when they are really little. They kind of fold in half. If you do go with a convertible, look online to find out what people had to say in reviews.

April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768401luvmalilbaby24, I gave my son first fruits at age 4 months, as recommended by the doc. He was drinking 4oz every 3 hrs. but was showing interest while I was eating. We tried the spoon and it worked great.
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768657How fast does time go once you’re a mother! My teeny weeny baby that I waited for sooo long for is already one! It’s surreal! I think it must be the hardest thing about being a mum- how time just flies! π
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768402babydaddyproject08….definitely true, I don’t know that it is due to vitamins but something definitely causes it. I’ve seen lots of women complaining on here…even me :/
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768658sher- i dropped my baby once. i was going to sit on the couch to nurse him. before i sat down, he squirmed right out of my arms, and fell ab0ut 3ft. he pretty much landed on his head. i was actually on vacation with my husband, MIL, SIL and of course they were sitting right there and saw it happen. I felt horrible, ran to my room with baby and cried while i nursed him. he had cried for afew minutes but was fine. another time, my husband was holding baby at church while sitting and once again squirmed away and fell on floor right in front of the entire class of people. i was really embarrassed for my hubby, and baby was fine. maybe this is why he sees a chiropractor!! I dont, but dont feel too bad. its just the beginning of a lot of bumps and bruises.
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768403RobinG – Thanks for that, i’ve never heard of that stuff before. My son seems to be a bit better today and has started taking a bit of his milk so I will cut down and go back to his normal amount of water/juice

April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768404Another reason why it is so dangerous to give infants water ~ this poor baby almost died from water intoxication by watering down the formula. http://www.tampabay.com/news/health/article922584.ece Pediatrician on news said babies shouldnt have added water til 10 months. An unbalance of water to milk will cause water intoxication sadly ~ (()) Clearly she was desperate and made a horrible choice, thankfully he is hoepfully going to be ok for the most part. Docs recommend IF water is given no more then an oz a day per age/month. Per 8 oz of a regular made bottle/ formula amount he was getting 12 oz of water. An added 4 oz of water. Water is very dangerous for babies, it wasnt long ago that it was norm to give it but it it is discouraged now (())
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768660I NEED ADVICE!! ASAP!!
FOr the pass couple of wks Ive been giving Brody children’s benadryl because he would breakout in a rash & that was like the only thing that helped. we got a puppy (only had it for two days & I think BRody was allegric to it bc he would break out. Well for the pass couple of days ive been notcing that he hasnt been going pee as much as he use to. could it be that I damage his bladder from giving him benadryl?? i was told it was ok to give him in moderation!! or could it be that hes getting older & doesnt go through alot of diapers anymore??? im really scared that ive hurt him. i was told by a nurse that too much benadryl can cause difficulty urinating. please reply!!April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768405Robin I heard about that story this morning on the local news! So scary. What amazed me was just yesterday a friend of mine that is pregnant for the first time, asked how much water she should give the baby on top of breast feeding/bottle feeding! I can’t believe docs aren’t more specific in telling parents about that. I remember specifically asking my doc about it when my 1st son was born!
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768661ashlee- my son is a horrible eater. has been from day one. it worries me to death. he is almost 21 months and doesnt even weigh 22 pounds yet! when i brought it up to the drs they always just say is he drinking alot?? and he does! they say that he wont starve himself but he will eat when he is hungry enough. sooo . thats what ihave to do. and he will only eat if he does it all himself. he doesnt want any help from anyone! its so hard sometimes. but i know what your going through and trust me its tough.
April 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #6768406I’m a bit worried and confused now i’ve read that story. My son has a chest infection at the moment and has been refusing milk so he’s been having about 14oz of very diluted juice throughout the day, he’s 9 months old and my doctor said to give him lots of fluid so is this ok?? Is it just diluting milk too much that is dangerous? My son normally only drink 6oz of juice along with 3 bottles of milk a day but he is hating milk at the moment and juice is all he will drink.
