A baby’s skin is delicate and keeping them safe is crucial since they suffer from short and long term damage and in worst situation heat stroke. They cause pain for the infant. Skin Care Foundation says that sun exposure during childhood multiply the risk of skin cancer (http://www.skincancer.org/prevention/sun-protection/children/oh-baby).
It is said infants under 6 months of age should be shielded from the sun. Too much sun would lead to skin cancer and their skin is very sensitive to sunscreen.
Combat suntan through simple measures like seeking shade, covering up baby fully, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen above 6 months of age, window films.
It hurts when they turn pink, so protect their delicate skin (https://www.cdc.gov/cancer/skin/basic_info/children.htm).
