hi ladies, i just wanted to let you know i have my final ultrasound today, i am just over 36 weeks and they are checking her position to make sure she is ready for labour, and giving her one last check over to make sure she is good to go (no reason to think she isnt). NST’s have been going good and have my first internal check tomorrow. I will let you all know how the us goes and how the doctors goes!

I just got back from the extra ultra sound to check Eliana’s heart and her heart is PERFECT !

    So happy !

Doc also said that in his 15 years of delivering baby’s he never had a sua -baby born not healthy.

Think this will give all of you some peace of mind and heart !

my doctor said the same thing, about never seeing an sua baby born with any problems. i dont think she has been doing it for 15 years but its still promising! all is still well over here after my last US on monday except she was breech again 🙁 so i have a consult tomorrow to discuss the possibility of a section although she could still turn so i am holding onto that hope!

i just wanted to let everyone know my c-section has been scheduled due to her size (at 36 weeks she was est at 7.5lbs already and measured BIG for once, she has always measured within 3 days of the original dd) i still have nothing really going on, no signs of labour or anything although i do hope it starts by itself. i think i am the next one to go on this board, hopefully any day now. ill let you all know how it goes but there is no reason to think she is going to be anything other than perfect 🙂

Hi all just got back from our 32 week growth scan, and OMG bubba is 2138 grams (4lb 7oz) already that means if they grow half a pound a week I’m looking at a 7 and a half to 9 and a half pounder, slighty scared at the thought of labour now. I’m thinking what would he of weighed without the SUA. To all you ladies with babys just getting diagnosed with this, I’ve yet to hear a negative outcome with a baby with SUA so try not to worry to much. Next scan at 36 weeks and we get to see the consulant then hopefully that will be it for hosp visits until labour day. xx

hey everyone i just have a moment but I wanted to come and let you all know that I had my baby by emergency c-section on monday night, oct. 13th. it was originally scheduled for the 17th but they took us early because my BP has been up and her heart was a bit fast for the last few NST’s. We are home now, both doing well, the section was NO WHERE near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am feeling great, baby is doing great. One of the risks of SUA is a smaller baby, well NOT THIS ONE. She tipped the scales at a whopping 8lbs 13oz, she is eating well and my milk has finally come in. She sleeps good too. And like I said, everything is healthy, now that she is born they are going to do one more check on her kidneys by ultrasound on monday or tuesday but shes doing great! good luck to all of you!

Hi all, just to let you know we’ve had our last scan and consultant appt today and bubba is right on track growthwise and there appears to be no more issues with him (i.e kidneys etc). He was 5lb 7oz’s and is expected to weigh 7lbs at term, only 4 and a bit more weeks until I get to meet him. Hope everyone is doing well. xx

hi ladies, hope your all doing well and still baking those babies! I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I am taking my baby for her renal ultrasound on halloween but we dont expect to find anything! It is just a standard follow up the doctor likes to do on 2 vessel cord babies.

Hi ladies just checking in and congrat’s to Courtenay, hope all went well with the us on Halloween. One month left and it’s looking like a c-section for me. Baby is two weeks behind in growth, but still within the normal range. He is a footling breech and does not look like he is going to turn down. We are hoping to get a 5 1/2 lb baby. Last us he was weighing in just under 4 lbs. Go to the dr. on the 14th to check things. Thinking of you all

thx kelsee and good luck to you! i havent heard anything back from the ultrasound yet so im going with no news is good news; we werent expecting to find anything anyways, however i think i will confirm that next week anyways. also taking the baby for another hearing test, just another follow up the doctor ordered, we know she can hear, shes already passed the tests in the hospital just want to be really sure with the 2 vessel cord i guess.
