HI I am 38 an had mt N/T scan yesterday. The tech didn’t tell me anything. Should I worry? I keep feeling like she didn’t want to say anything negative. All she said was that the baby was very cooperative. I wanted to walk out of there with numbers…I knew it wasn’t the complete picture but just something to hold onto until the blood work comes back. Two weeks seems so long to wait.

I saw the doctor today and they did another scan and checked my levels again. The scan showed alot of blood around the sac that they really aren’t sure what caused it. Then my levels came back and had only raised from 13992 to 16300. So the doctor want to do a D&C tomorrow. I am sad about it but at least I know I CAN get pregnant now.The plans to send everything to pathology to see what the problem is. Right now I don’t think things have sunk in yet. I will post more when I get to feeling better. Thanks for everyones support.

Hi dawnp, I have posted here a few times and I have asuggestion for you. My girlfriend was 36 weeks and her DD was also breeched an older woman told her to crawl around on all fours everytime she thought abt it. She said she crawled around abt 10xs a day 5 mins each time for a week, when she went back for her next apt her dd had turned. My niece just delivered her baby last monday and she also crawled because her dd was breeched too. It worked I hope this might help. Good luck!! 🙂

Hi ladies!!!…..mmm mmm…..BLT sandwich and a bag of fritos….wish I wouldnt have left my tabasco sauce at home! LOL I agree Rosey and Beth….it does feel like scare mongering which is why Im determined not to stress over it…..i have heard and read of sooooo many false positives the main reason i even agree to it is so I can get the sono pics. LOL My OB doesnt stress on my age much anymore…of course at my first appt he did….but thats when we discuss if I want to do any of these tests….from here on out it wont be much more than getting me in for check ups and watching my blood pressure and stuff closely (I think LOL)…..I realize anything can happen,,,,,but I have faith that God wont give me anything I cant handle…and He has kept me sane so far! (I think! LOL) Hope everyone is feeling well today…..Kim SSL any updates for us???? =o) ~ T

Thanks Kim – but I’m still here. i’m crampy too Freebird, and having contractions that don’t build up to anything. Still being patient, but would much prefer not to be induced – so come on babies! Happy New Year to all.

Hi ladies I have a question, I have some doubts about my OB doc I’m high risk due to my age, lupus, and gestational diabetes. I’m going to a new OB doc this time and I don’t care for her, she is always in and out of the room so fast but my question is shouldn’t my doctor be measuring my baby now? With my last pregnancy I know that started measuring my stomach at 12 weeks and I had another appt yesterday and they still didin’t measure me???

Tossing baby dust to all Mommy’s trying to get their BFP!!! Waiting just plain sucks…all aspects of it. I never did the BBT, but did use OPKs to determine the right time of the month. Know that it can happen…even though on some days it feels impossible. Exercise is totally fine and I’ve known women who are very physically active who conceived easily. The uterus cushions potential embryos and protects them from all the bouncing and bumping. However, on an honest note, I could see myself ‘stopping’ just for the odd chance that it may decrease my odds. (I tend to be an overthinker as well) haha

Let me add that I am going back on my anti-depressants following my upcoming birth. With my history of chronic depression and my suppressed mood for many months, I do not want to be at risk for crashing into postpartum depression. I have done well considering I gave them up cold turkey the second I saw two lines. However, I want my lil guy to have an optimistic and happy mommy..not one who is overwhelmed and sad all the time.

7thbaby, My heart breaks for you. I’m so sorry. Tab167, Did you have a different sn before? I was exclusively BFing, and AF came back at 4 month pp with my last baby. But my luteal phase was also pretty short (I think about 7 days?). I had a couple whacky, or long cycles, but they got regular fairly quickly. Some women use Vitex to regulate their cycles once AF has returned. It may be worth checking into. Good luck!

That’s great news Misty! The day I saw my smiley face and the next day were busts in the bd department, lol. God’s way of saying last month wasn’t the time I suppose. It was very frustrating though. I did have hubby request a Cialis prescription, so hopefully things will be more successful. Sometimes I wonder if I am meant to have a #7 or not…time will tell.

7thbaby- I am interested in more information regarding your EBay store. I may have to find an alternative way to generate money. This registered daycare plans may not be happening due to issues with home owner insurance. I am highly frustrated!
